Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–2 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Hide Room Coffee at (818) 736-5955; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Burbank is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The coffee here is amazing! The coffee shop looks and feels very clean and welcoming. The coffee I purchased was Acatenango cloud and it was delicious. It had just the right amount of sweetness. Unfortunately I didn't try the dessert or food they had so I can say much. But in terms of the coffee delicious.

Met up with a friend and had their iced latte. It was one of the best I’ve had in LA. Their baristas were very welcoming and helped guide me through their menu. My family is from Guatemala so it was nice to find a coffee shop who serves Guatemalan Specialty Coffee. The outdoor patio is very warm and welcoming. The music they’re playing outside gives the space a nice vibe and it’s not too loud where you’re unable to hold a conversation. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

First time here and yeah… this place is it. Super cool, super cozy. At first it feels like just a coffee spot, then you look to the left and there are glass doors that lead into a barbershop on the other side. Caught me off guard in a good way, whole place has a vibe to it. The baristas really know their stuff too. They asked if I was a first-timer and actually helped me choose something instead of just handing me a drink. Everything’s sourced straight from Guatemala and you can taste how clean it is. No jitters, no crash, just smooth. The quality is honestly insane. This isn’t just “grab a coffee and go”, you can tell they really care about what they’re serving, which lines up with what a lot of people have been saying about the beans and sourcing. Kicked it outside with some friends and it instantly turned into one of those spots you want to keep coming back to. The owner even came out, chopped it up with us, told us about the coffee and where it comes from. You don’t get that everywhere. While we were out there, people kept passing by saying what’s up to him, so you can tell it’s really a local spot. Felt less like we were visiting somewhere and more like we stepped into some

Hands down the BEST coffee in Burbank – The Hide Room Coffee is a hidden gem you NEED to experience! ☕️ I stumbled into The Hide Room Coffee thinking it was just another spot… and walked out obsessed. This place is straight-up genius: a classic old-school barbershop that also serves some of the highest-quality, farm-to-cup specialty coffee in all of LA. 💈 They source single-origin Guatemalan beans direct from the Orellanas family farm, and you can taste the difference in every single sip. I ordered the Orellana’s Special Latte (house espresso with honey and cinnamon) and it was life-changing — smooth, aromatic, perfectly balanced, zero jitters, and no afternoon crash like the big chains. ✨ Their pour-overs and Cafe De La Tierra Latte are next-level too. Even the pastries (that coffee cake!) are dangerously good. 🍰 The vibe is cozy and welcoming, the baristas are genuinely friendly and know their beans, and getting a killer latte while surrounded by vintage barber chairs just feels cool as hell. It’s the ultimate multi-tasking spot — haircut + world-class coffee in one stop. If you’re anywhere near Burbank, Glendale, or the LA area and you love real specialty coffee, stop scrolling

The baristas here are super sweet and welcoming, and they really know their coffee. Everything is sourced directly from a small farm in Guatemala, where the owner and his family are from. Honestly, it’s by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. No jitters, no crash! I only learned why after visiting the shop: high-quality specialty Arabica beans and proper brewing, not cheap Robusta or mass-produced Arabica. You learn something new everyday! 🫘 🤯 The shop is small which I honestly kind of love. Regardless of size, it more than makes up for it with incredible service and amazing coffee. I’ve tried the pour over, cold brew, espressos, and several signature drinks, not one has let me down. It’s become my go-to spot to bring both clients and friends. It’s feels like a genuine hidden gem! If you want a taste of Guatemalan heaven in a cup, and some of the best coffee you’ll ever have, do yourself a favor and check it out! . ☕️ You can grab a bag of beans too if you want to save some money, but honestly, I’d still rather pay these prices than go anywhere near a Starbucks ever again. No more jitters or crashes for me, I’m good! 😂🤣
